FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Below are some of the frequently asked questions we receive from prospective new clients;

 

“What are your rates?”

Domestic:  Our standard Domestic cleaning fee is £12 per hour, with a minimum of 2 man-hours per visit. This includes all cleaning materials, unless you state otherwise. Therefore, the minimum is £24 per visit.

Commercial/Office:   Please see the Services Offered page for more information. Each Commercial/Office enquiry is treated as an individual requirement, with your needs, requirements & budget taken into account. The quotation provided will be detailed & tailored to your property & requirements.

One-off:   Please see the Services Offered page for more information. Based on a few details of your property, such as number of bedrooms & area, we will normally be able to provide you with a quotation without a visit.

 

“Can I have the same slot(s) every week/fortnight?”

Of course, wherever possible, we try to cater for your requirements. There are ‘hotspots’ throughout each week, where it may not be possible for us to meet your exact requirement. We try to work with our customers to ensure the slot you are initially allocated is convenient and manageable for all parties.

 

“Will I have the same cleaner each time?”

One of the benefits of retaining our manageabe size is that we can be confident that you will very rarely receive a different cleaning operative. When this does happen (eg. due to illness), we will endeavor to contact you beforehand.  We always try to keep our customer in the loop, in order to avoid any unexpected surprises!

 

“Is there anything you don’t do?”

We do not perform carpet, oven or external window cleans. We consider these tasks to be best performed by colleagues in the respective sectors.

 

“What makes you different to any other cleaning company ?”

We are a straight-forward company offering a reliable, straight-forward service, with no hidden extras. We will be open with you at all times.

 

“Are you insured?”

We carry liability insurance, so you can rest assured we are covered to work in your premises if the unexpected happens.

 

“How & when do I pay?”

Domestic & One-Off:   Cash or cheque on the day is preferred.

Commercial/Office:   Cash, cheque, BACS or Direct Debit payments. Billing will be detailed in the quotation, but is on a 4-weekly basis.

 

“Is it safe for me to give you a key?”

Generally, all of our clients provide us with a key straight away, which is kept in a safe at our premises. Others have preferred to wait a while before providing this. It is, of course, completely your personal choice.
